Business awards, outsourced.

Much more than trophies, awards are door openers!

welcome

Mel Wrote It is a business award entry copywriting service on the Central Coast, NSW (Australia).

I assist heart-centred Aussie brands in translating their business achievements into award-winning awards entries.

When we work together, you'll feel at ease and can be your casual, authentic, baddie self without any wanky performative jargon or makeup needed on Zoom.

Kids in the background? No problem [real life happens, and I'm a parent, too].

You get the best of both worlds as I'm a corporate drop-out, turned-inked, and sweary freelancer.

I have a plethora of expertise working with B2B clients such as sole traders, SMEs, global Orgs, and Gov.

My Neuro-spicy [Neurodivergent] brain has a knack for attention to detail and storytelling that will ensure your responses are engaging, relevant to the award category you're entering, and framed correctly.

Benefits:

  • Gain more visibility for your personal and professional brands.

  • Level up your business street cred.

  • Stand out as the go-to expert online.

  • Become and remain an award-winning brand.

  • Boost your productivity by outsourcing.

  • Reduce burnout by handling tasks you'd usually do out of hours.

Lived experiences.

At Mel Wrote It, led by Mel – a Queer, Neurodivergent woman and a descendant of Holocaust survivors – I'm deeply committed to fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion.

My business ethos is heavily influenced by my life experiences, including chronic illness and disability, and a profound respect for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Darkinjung Country (Central Coast, NSW).

Empowerment is at my core.

I proudly offer discounted rates to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and non-profits, aiming to amplify marginalised voices.

Ethics are the foundation of my operations.

I ensure transparency, uphold confidentiality, and avoid conflicts of interest in all client representations and award participations.

Sustainability is a key pillar of Mel Wrote It.

As a Clean Creative, I pledge against collaborations with fossil fuel entities and maintain a paperless office to minimise our environmental footprint.

Inclusion is not just about diversity; it's about creating a space where everyone feels valued and included, regardless of their background or abilities.

At Mel Wrote It, every decision is driven to impact the world positively, ethically, and sustainably.
